TITLE Parts Supervisor
REPORTS TO Branch Manager

Position Summary
As the Parts Department’s Supervisor, you play an integral role in managing the day‐to‐day operation of the parts department in compliance with the company’s established policies and procedures. As well as ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and safety program. Working with the branch manager, you play a key role in attaining the company’s short and long‐term objectives. As part of the leadership team, you play a key role in recruiting and developing our employees.
Position Outline
· Forecast and plan in conjunction with the Branch Manager
· Forecast parts volumes and plan for adequate staff and equipment to meet projections including capital expenditures
· Recruitment and People Development
· Leadership Development
· Conduct monthly parts meetings to communicate company objectives and policies
· Hold regular countertop meetings to review; parts issues, goals, safety standards, and other relevant topics
· Ensures timely handling of all work orders
· Control costs by effectively managing all areas of the parts department
Experience Required:
· Strong organizational skills
· Good communications skills
· Excellent customer relations skills
· Good computer and systems knowledge
· Good analytical skills
· A good working knowledge of parts sales techniques and methodologies
· Solid inventory management knowledge
· Good understanding of financial reporting principles
· Solid Industry Product knowledge
· A solid understanding of pricing principles and discounting effects
· Working knowledge of warehouse storage systems and storage layout principles
