As our Partsperson, you’ll play an integral role in warehousing and selling parts which includes determining parts requirements with customers and technicians, expediting and providing order processing services.

- Relationship Builder. You’re going to get to know your customers, their equipment, and their business. You’ll build rapport and trust and you’ll be able to provide information and solutions to keep your customers up and running.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit. You will develop a strong understanding of the department’s sales performance and understand customer’s needs. With this knowledge and experience you will develop skills for providing customer solutions, including telephone selling, both inbound and outbound
- Vigilance. Report customer satisfaction, trends and other useful information to Parts supervisor. Report any possible leads for equipment sales to the sales team. Develop rapport with customers and be the eyes and ears of the branch; take opportunities to make a difference.
- Tech savvy. You will be comfortable with learning new software and you’ll also have the ability to communicate with technicians and customers regarding parts and service.
- Diligence. We have adopted best practices when developing our systems and procedures and you’ll become a champion for consistently staying in the lines. This is a detail-oriented position and you have already developed personal systems for organizing your work, ensuring you follow up, and you are a stickler for accuracy.
- Stamina. This can be a physical job with heavy lifting and carrying. The pace can be fast, the hours can be long during busy cycles and you may also need to work occasional overtime. You will also realize that you need to recharge regularly – we insist that you take your vacation time!

Experience Required:
- Successful completion of ITA parts apprentice program or 5+ years of direct experience.
- Proficient knowledge of equipment systems and repairs
- Good computer and systems knowledge
- Strong technical background and capable of communicating with technicians and customers regarding parts and service
- Successful completion of ITA Parts & Warehousing Red Seal Certification or equivalent work experience
