As our Parts Supervisor, you’ll play an integral role in managing the day‐to‐day operation of the parts department in compliance with the company’s established policies and procedures, as well as ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and safety program. You play a key role in attaining the company’s short and long‐term objectives. As part of the leadership team, you play a key role in recruiting and developing our employees.

Working with the branch manager, you will:

  • Plan, direct and evaluate parts operations
  • Manage staff and assign duties, monitor and coach performance; hiring, development and retention
  • Study trends to determine demand and sales volumes
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies
  • Plan budgets, authorize expenditures and monitor revenues
  • Evaluate and improve customer service and respond to customer issues as required

This is a full-time, permanent position (40 hours/week) and you’ll have the opportunity to work in our new state-of-the-art dealership. We offer a competitive compensation package, which includes full health and dental, disability, family assistance and a company sponsored RRSP plan of $3.50 per hour. The pay rate is $44.33 per hour, and you will also receive $13k per year leadership premium. Overtime may be required occasionally, and it's paid at double time.   • Qualification. You have successfully managed a heavy equipment parts department with 2 or more employees for at least 5 years. While Red Seal Parts and Warehousing certification would be an asset, we are ultimately looking for an individual who is motivated to solve problems, drive sales, and lead their team. You’re ready to apply all that you have learned in warehouse and inventory management to make Great West Equipment your employee’s and customers’ first choice.
  • Relationship Builder. You’re going to get to know your team, peers, customers, and their equipment and business. Your communication skills, optimism and passion will contribute to improving your team’s work experience and the customer’s business experience. The language of work is English.
